Jeff Milchen, co-founder of the American Independent Business Alliance (AMIBA.net) and a leading advocate for community-based businesses, will speak on Wednesday evening, March 24.
Milchen will offer a provocative presentation illustrating the economic and civic importance of sustaining a strong base of local, independently-owned business. He’ll provide numerous success stories of programs developed to support community-based businesses and keep them thriving in the face of competition from chains, online businesses, and others. Open to all who have an interest.
The next morning, Thursday, March 25, he will conduct an intensive 1-3 hour workshop for Cleveland Heights and University Heights locally-owned businesses, on the nuts and bolts of creating an Independent Business Alliance.
Both events are FREE.
We encourage all independent local business owners in Cleveland Heights and University Heights to attend these important events.
